At Red Earth Building Services our mission is to provide aesthetically pleasing structures built from natural materials using sustainable techniques. In sustainable building it is ideal to use as many indigenous materials from the building site as possible.

Next best is to use regionally available materials. If this is not feasible, products are chosen that are low in embodied energy and non-toxic. We will collaborate with you to build beautiful structures that reflect your desire to live naturally. Combining Japanese style timber-framing with modern but time tested natural building methods the result is a gorgeous, energy efficient building that is built to last.

It is also our goal to bring natural building within economic reach of the average homeowner. Long believed to be too labor intensive to be economically feasible, natural building has changed. The use of site available materials and modern building techniques combined with sensible design make natural building cost comparable to conventional construction. And when the longevity and the health benefits of a natural, non-toxic building are considered it can be even more affordable. Beginning with a consultation, we can help you plan your project to suit your needs and your budget. We can work with you, the owner, directly as an owner-builder, or we can work with your own architect and engineer.
